Shankhnad News is published by Milan L. Kuvadiya (sole
proprietor), registered with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting
(Cable Television), Registration No. GJ/2025/723079548. We
publish news and current-affairs content for the public on
shankhnadnews.com and in the
Shankhnad News mobile app, following the Norms of Journalistic
Conduct of the Press Council of India and the programme standards
applicable to news in India.

Our standards

• Accuracy — we verify facts before publishing and keep fact separate from opinion.
• Fairness and impartiality — we report without bias and offer a reasonable opportunity to reply where allegations are made.
• Independence — editorial decisions are not dictated by advertisers or any political party.
• Respect for privacy and dignity — we take care with grief, children, communal matters, and ongoing investigations.

Accuracy and verification

We confirm information from reliable sources before publishing and
attribute facts and quotes where possible. Breaking news may be updated as
a story develops; significant updates are reflected in the article.

Corrections and clarifications

We correct genuine errors promptly. Material corrections (those that change
the meaning of a story) are noted on the affected article. To request a
correction, tell us the article and the specific statement, the correct
position, and any supporting information — by emailing

or contacting our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge within
24 hours and respond within 15 days.

Right of reply

If we publish an allegation about an identifiable person or organisation,
they may request a fair opportunity to respond.

We credit the publications we rely on and do not knowingly publish

Advertisements and sponsored content are kept distinct from editorial
content; advertising does not influence our news judgement.
